The Town of Clayton is accepting applications for employment for a full-time experienced Motor Equipment Operator (MEO) at the Town of Clayton Highway Department. The successful applicant will be required to hold a current CDL A, however a current CDL B may be considered with a minimum of 5 years motor equipment operator experience. Experience operating snow removal equipment is also a plus. Applicant must live in close proximity to the Highway Barn. MEO will be expected to work some evening and weekend shifts during winter. Summer shifts will run four days a week, Monday through Thursday. Position starts at $27.81 and will increase $.50/hour every 6 months for the first two years, in addition to other contractual increases.
