The Town of Clayton is accepting sealed bids for one used Rubber Tired Backhoe to meet the following minimum required specifications. Any deviation from these specifications should be listed and submitted with the bid. The Town of Clayton reserves the right to reject any or all bids received.
- The machine Model Year must be 2014 or newer
- The machine shall have 1,000 hours or less actual usage
- Enclosed glass cab with heat and A/C is required
- The machine shall be rated at 92 Net Horsepower minimum
- Operating Weight shall be 16,900 lbs. minimum
- The machine must be equipped with 4WD with 4-speed power shift transmission
- Road travel speed at maximum shall be at least 25 MPH
- Tire Size-Rear shall be 19.5L-24 and Tire Size-Front shall be 340/80-18
- Front Loader bucket shall be pin-on GP style 1.25 cubic yard minimum capacity
- Rear Backhoe Bucket shall be 24” width standard duty bucket with teeth
- The machine shall be equipped with Extendible Stick to allow 18’ dig depth
- The backhoe digging shall be operated by “excavator style” joystick control
- The machine must be available for operation/viewing to the Town of Clayton
